ABOUT TOWN
With Sarah Virgo
McDonald, Principal of the Grego
ry Elementary School sang the
moat inspiring and beautiful num
ber. “Bless This House”.
As for the school itself it is a
most modern structure in every
way, both a Urae lively and con
veniently planned, and located.
We also had the opportunity to
visit the famous Williston Indus
trial School of Wilmington, N. C.
where my father was principal
for many, many years. This school
too has undergone modernizing
changes. I do wish you could see
the various departments, especial
ly the Home Economics depart
ment, which in my lingo is utterly
fabulous. The individual rotns for
music and art, and the science de
partment and the very huge and
beautifully planned gymnasium.
Marvelous.
Yes ail in all the trip was
roost enjoyable and profitable.
Quite an exciting weekend.
During toe past week, more
than XSQ Negro farm and home
leaders ol Wake County assembled
