Experiment sta tion studies prove that soybean bacteria are easily killed by drouth, wet spoils, sour soil, and many other things. Too, leftover bacteria may lose their power to benefit the next «r«p. Illinois farmers ran tests ou this last year. They planted some in oculated soybeans, and some with out inoculation, on old soybean Sand. Freshly inoculating the seed paid a net profit of up to $11.51 an acre, even though soybeans had been raised on the name land be* to re. i It takes only a eoupk of min utes and about a dime’s worth of material to inoculate soybeans for an acre, so a yield increase of only 8 pounds per acre more than paya. Fresh inoculation often increase* yields several bushels per acre, even when soybeans were grown on the same field recently. This mlonnaiicß, wish support mg experiment station fact*, m detailed in a new illustrated book let. You can get your free copy of "Why Inoculate Soybeans Every Timet” from youur seed dealer or from The Nitres gin Co, 8101 W, Custer Ave., Milwaukee 9, Wi*.
