Tuesday evening in the Lucille
Hunter School Cafeteria with
Plummer Vines, president, presid
ing.
J. J. Sansom, Jr., chairman of
the Political Action Committee of
the Raleigh Citizens Ass’n was
the guest speaker. He commended
the P. T. A. Council for the work
that it is doing and has bean doing
over the years for our youth of
Raleigh. He discussed the Voter
Registration Drive and Constitu
tional Amendmnt number 1, the so
called “Little Federal Plan."
Each person was urged to hear
the distinguished Clarence Mitchell,

Baptist Church last Sunday.

VISITORS FROM TURKEY—Mr. and Mrs. Oliver F. Wal
lace, graduates of AbtT College, returned last week from Turkey
where he has been employed for the past two years as a mechanical
engineer with an American engineering firm. He graduated with
a degree in ‘mechanical engineering in 1953. Mrs. WaVace . the
former Miss Ruth Ann Carter of Raleigh, a teacher in the Anark

returned to Turkey after the recent holiday leave.
