Drive For Shaw University Funds Gaining Added Momemtum Daily Shaw University’s emergency drive to raise $300,000 by the end of June to liquidate its current operating indebtedness gained added momentum during the past week as the national alumni asso ciation. several church groups in the state, and others took action to secure the necessary funds. In an extraordinary session of the F ecutive Committee frepre senting alumni associations from across the country) of the nation al alumni, a plan was adopted for the alumni to raise 950,000 within the next thirty days. Every alum nus is being asked to contribute at least 9100.00 within this period, and several groups in northern cities have begun to contact cor porations and other businesses for gifts.
