I found the result* reported to be of sufficient interest to me to pas* on to m.v readers. . Seaweed i* commonly referred to as kelp and includes a large num ber of the brown weed*. There has been consideiable. interest in sea weed as a food ar.d as a nutrient to supplement the fertilizer program. It has been used on both flowey-s. vegetables and fruits. Mrs. Jeanne Price of Blacksburg, Va., used the seaweed formulation on her iris at .the request of a Nor wegian company who manufactures the product. Incidentally, Mrs: Price is an accredited exhibition judge and a member of the American Iris Society.
