Surviving are her husband, Mr.
George McCrimmon, one daughter,

Decency" conducted at Shaw Uni
versity, P. U. Watson, guidance
counselor, J. W. Ligon High School.
Raleigh, spoke at the Men's Per
sonnel Council meeting. Monday,
March 9, in Greenleaf Auditorium.
Speaking from the topic ‘'Charac
ter building among students, Mr.
Watson stated that decency Is a
matter of developing character and
character building is the heart of
education. “Nothing else in educa
tion is worth having except a sig
nificant rich character," he quoted.
He told the young men that what
they will be tomorrow will be de
termined by what they are practic
ing today.
“The titles and degrees be
come meaningless except
there is a good character which
you develop in your behavior
everyday. Building a perfect
pattern in your life will make
it easier for you to relate to
others." he stated.
Responding to mam action in
school indicates that the heart may
be in the right place, but the head
is not used properly. In your pro
fession to render, service to pro
vide Income, the kind ot example
you set is the most important. As
college students, he stated, you are
I ;i select group. You now represent
10 percent of Negro population.

Foreign Mission Rally.
