RALEIGH BUSINESS COLLEGE BT CONNIE BEST Our assembly speaker recently was Attorney F. J. Carnage. Attorney Carnage is a member of the Raleigh School Board. The new junior high school is being named for him. and he is now teaching law part-time at Saint Augustine’s College. The speaker reminded us that we are living in a new world, and we are facing much competition; not only among ourselves, but other races as well. We must be prepared in order to challenge those with whom we come in contact and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with each other. “We must be capable of holding the jobs we are placed on,” he stated. We are just human beings and must learn to see people for what they are. You can develop a charm ing personality instead of an um pleasant one. Attorney Carnage said that wc can be anything we want to be if we work hard enough to accomp lish our goals. He also said, it we put forth everything and we make up our minds that we arc not going to let anyone get ahead of us, we will succeed. The students and teachers enjoy ed Attorney Carnage's speech.
