THE CAROLINIAN RALEIGH. N. C.. SATURDAY. MAY 99, 1964 6 WEEKLY MEDITATION BY COLIN DOUGLAS “Hi Khali b« tlkr i tree . . . that brlngeth forth fruit in it* Kuon." —Psalms 1:3. Whenever you plan seeds in the ground, you do not then stand by anxiously until the seeds have brought forth their fruit. You cul tivate the ground and you provide nourishmen and care. And you do these things with faith and with anticipation of the harvest. You cannot see what the life within nourishment and care. And you do know that it will put forth its fruit In good season. I is this same way within you. The prayers, the desires of your heart, are like the seeds planted in the ground They have within them the creative power of God. When the mind is cultivated with thought and the heart enriched with faith, then the ideas and the good things you have planted there will bear their -rich fruit. Just as with seeds of the earth. m MINUTES^L wrm THE BIBLE m COtNUMM ». (TAM MIS.
