Mrs. Mamie Holt the president, presided Three new members were welcomed to the club: Mrs. Viola Adderly and Mrs. Eater Mitchell and Mrs. Annie Haywood. The meeting was wall attended. Plana war* laid for tha annual tea. The members enjoyed a wonderful menu of chicken salad, tomato cup on lettuce, chtese gtrsws, pickles, ice cream, cake and lime ice. PAUL'S CHURCH The Emergency Club met in the first meeting of the fall season at the hom* of Mrs. Mabel Matthews. 133 W. South SL. last Wednesday. The meeting was opened in the usual way with Mrs. Edmondson praaidlng. A large number of mem ber* were present aa everyone en joyed Mm Matthew* hospitality in her home.
