Os all the spiritual armor which believer* are told to "put on" In Eph. (’ll*l6, there 1* only one of fensive weapon. This is "the Sword of the Spirit . . . the Word of Cod." The Bible is called the Sword of “the Spirit,” because the Spirit of God is it* Author. It 1* called “the Sword” of the Spirit because, thus written by God who knows all, it can cut deeply. This makes It a fOrmldible weapon against Satan and the forces of evil operating all about us.
