UECUKATIAG UOOB WEEK On Wednesday, December 16, 16* 64, the Washington Junior Hipt School celebrated a week called "Decorating Door Week.” It began Thursday, December 17. Each class from grades sixth through ninth decorated its class door. There were to be no articles on the door that required electricity. The results were as follows: First place, Mrs. Louise M. Maye and her sixth grade class. Second place. Mrs. Martha S. Davidson and her eighth grade class. Third place. A tie between Mr. Greene and Mrs. Cobum, both having eighth grad* classes. He very vividly expressed what had been given to us and how we should live and work at all times In the way Jesus Christ taught us. The senior choir was In charge of the Xmas music. Mrs. W. R. Oaynor presid ed at the organ. Two young girls united with the church at that service. Christmas Programs Oak City Baptist and St. James AM E. Churches observed their Christmas programs and present ed gifts to the children this week. Plney Grove A. M. E. Its regular service Sunday at 11 a. m , with the pastor, Rev. J. N. Plney Orove A. M.
