mountain it is necessary to blast
their way, and the cost per mil1

When this road is completed
the time between Lenoir and
Plowing Pock will be cut to half
the time now required to make
the trip- which means a time sa

party to leave Charlotte or that

reach Plowing Pock in an incred
ibly short time, compared with
the trip as it stares them in the
face today. The new road will be
the cause of an increased number
of visitors to the Pock and other
resorts adjacent
