ADVENT CHRISTIAN CHURCH
Last Sunday was a splendid day for I
this church. The Sunday school attendance
was aS, which is more than
double the church membership. The :
contest between the Reds' and Blues i
is gaining in interest every Sunday.
! The Blues are yet ahead, but the 1
Reds are very tricky and may forge
ahead on the home stretch.
The male quartette from the Nor
ma! School, whose membership consists
of Prof. J. T. .C Wright and
Messrs Fstes, Laxton and Ramsey,
sang three splendid selections for the ?
Sunday morning service. Everybody J
present enjoyed the singing more than j
mere words can tell. Everybody who !
, heard the r-inging are anxious to see j
the quartette make a return visit j
A large number of Baptists and
Lutherans were welcome visitors at j
both morning and evening services, j
The Adveptifits are hot try ing to in-|
J jure any other church and are def j
j lighted to have other Christians en;
joy worshipping with thorn.
I The Sunday .services will be in
charge of the oastov. Eld. R V ttnld >!
win. who will preach at both sen*ices. !
Sunday morning his subject will be [
("Pauls Arrest at Jerusalem."
; In response to many ui-gcut vc'
quests the pastor \v;il. preach Sunday
j night upon the Twentieth Chapter of
| Revelation. There are possibly a do/. .
en different theories extant concern j
ins the meaning of this chapter. It

New Way to End
DangerousCough
The most stubborn cough is relieved .
with the first dose, and is very often
broken up entirely in 24 hours by a
new method based on the famous Dr.
King's New Discovery for Coughs.
Here is the method: You simply take j
one teaspoonfnl and hold it in your
throat for 15 or 20 seconds before swallowing
it. The prescription has a d< iJ
action. It not only soothes and h? a!, j
soreness and irritation, bat also ns
and removes the phlegm and ci togesi io:which
are the direct c.iiisc of the cor. hing.
So with the cause removed, the sevejtestcough
