Mr. C B. Angel, who for the past severai months has been in poor health, is again confined to his room, suffering from a stomach ailment. Mrs. Mary Brown? who has been confined to her home for several weeks, is said fo be somewhat improved this (Wednesday) morning. Shell, of Hickory, were visitors with Mr. F. M. Thompson Sunday. Mr. J. W. McGhec was taken to Duke Hospital, Durham, Tuesday for treatment for a serious infection of the skin which has so far baffled medical skill. 1 Mr. W. F. Mrs. A. S. Harris entertained the Entre Nous bridge club Wednesday afternoon at her attractive home on Main Street. High score prize was won b3r Mrs. Sam Horton and Mrs. J. After the devotional and business, many games were enjoyed by the guests.
