The establishment of this forum has been made possible by friends of Mary Mildred Sullivan, who during her life tirre was always a promoter of education in the mountain sections of tiie South. Since her death her son. George H. Sullivan of New York, and her friends have continued to aid many of the educational institutions in which she was interested. Mrs. Sullivan's memory is cherished at. I.ees-Mcttae college through the Sullivan Society which upholds and honors lier as an example of very fine womanhood.
