The structure cf the plant has been i constructed of native stone which was quarried in Watauga county. Measuring 65 by 222 feet, the building affords a spacious basement and j two floors 01 adequate size for the 1 number of students to be accomrne- ! dated. The basement eon tarns seven j rooms. It is here that the science j department, workshop and storage j rooms and the heating system will' be located. The first floor is composed of eight large classrooms and additional space for practice teaching service. Modern cloak and lavatory rooms are also situated or. the first floor. The second floor is similar to the : first, except the fact that it is here that th^ library is found.
