Local Legion Post Improves Properly At a recent meeting ul the Wa tauga Post it was revealed that the membership of the post is now SSO, and that considerable prog ram* has been made during the |M rear. Through Winkler Motor Co., local Ford dealer, the team was outfitted with beautiful and serviceable jackets, the Winkler Motor Co. and others furnishing transpor tation on several trips. Coaching was done by the Cottrell twins, assisted by Tom Beach. Cleve Gross and Joe Huffman did most of the work on the part of the Legion. Johnny Hollar, local football and baseball star, is doing a good job of training the boys, both in good sportsmanship and good baseball. Through the sale of sea son tickets and the cooperation of the business men they are making a fine record. The legion has been improving ita property, ? lawn haa been provided, roads graded and other improvements made to the end 'that the park will be a real aaaet to the community.
