LOYALTY CHECKS The Federal Bureau of Investi gation has announced that since the start of the Federal loyalty check, it had found 2,110,521 Federal workers so beyond suspicion that full investigations into their loyalty were unneces sary. A total of 8,344 full investi gations have been started since the beginning of the program and thus far 5,421 of them, or 88 per cent, have been completed. Of these, 619 resigned during in vestigations and 44 others were found to be no longer in Govern ment employ. The remaining 4, 758 cases were turned over to the Civil Service Commission for decision.
