The bride; was given in marriage
by her father. She wore a gown of
French Chantllly imported lace
over bridal wtin, with ? yoke ef
French illusion, the front inserted
with French Chantilly lace, fea
turing the prophetic wedding ring
waist and billowing skirt with the
traditional full train. The full
length veil of French illuaion fell
from a calot trimmed with orange
blossoms and seed pearls. Her on
ly ornament was a strand of pearla.
She carried ? white Bible, a gift
of the groom, showered with
phalaenophisis spray orchids top
ped with large white orchids.
Mrs. Tommy Hedrlck, aunt of
the bride, was matron of honor.
She wore a floor length dress of
yellow figured organdy over lime
taffeta with matching mitts and
headdress. She carried a bouquet
of red carnations centered with
large lime frilled-lipped green or
chids tied with lime satin ribbon.
Bridesmaids were Mrs. Charles
B. Sechriest, sister of the groom.

Following the weding rehearsal
on Friday evening, Mr. and Mrs.
Feexoi^ parents of the bride en

cutting in the spacious church re
ception room for about eighty
guests.
The bride's table was arranged
with a white embroidered linen
cMth, double crystal candelabra
With white tapers tied with white
satin bows, and a crystal bowl of
white carnations. The three-tiered
white cake topped with a minia
ture bridal pair and crystal punch
bowl was surrounded with fern
and ivy.
The room was beautifully dec
orated throughout with ivy, fern,
gladioli and carnations
After the honored couple had
cut thf first slice of cake, Mrs.
Forrest Feezor served the other
guests. Mrs. Douglas Trogdon pre
sided at the punch bowl, assisted
by Mrs. Paul Owen. Salted nuts
and mints were arranged in crystal
container! on the table.
Mrs. Spurgeon Trantham regis
tered guests at a table decorated
with white flowera and white tap
ers.

played by Mrs. Graydon Eggers.

Reunion Slated
The third annual Dougherty
Adama reunion will be held at the
Dougherty home in Boone, Sunday
July 3.
In the event of rain the reunion
will go to the nearby gymnaaium.
A short program will be held at
10:30, after which family groupe
will be introduced, and perhapa
pictures taken.
Luaeh will be served picnic
style at 12:30. Each family will
