Married In Greensboro Last Saturday

Luttrell, both of Greensboro, were
married at S p. m. today in Finch
Memorial Chapel at Greensboro
College here.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Clifford Leith Goodman
of Greensboro. Mr. Luttrell is the
son of Mrs. E. M. Luttrell of Shulls
Mills and the late Mr. Luttrell.
Dr. Eugene Cannon Few, pastor
of West Market Street Methodist
Church, performed the ceremony.
Mrs. R. Jordan Sizemore of South
Boston, Va.,' was soloist and Had
ley Hunt of Pleasant Garden was
organist.
Miss Eugenia Ruth Luttrell of
North Wilkesboro, sister of the
groom, and Mrs. Clifford Leith
Goodman Jr. of Greensboro were
honor attendants. The bridesmaids
were Mrs. David Livingstone Pierce
and Mrs. William D'Arcy Troxler.
The attendants wore dresses of
sunset pink taffeta designed with
scoop necklines and full skirts of
wide unpressed pleats. Their head
dresses were Mary Stuart half hats
of taffeta with flowers at the sides,
and they carried cascade bouquets
of American Beauty roses tied with,
matching ribbon.
Groomsmen were Clifford Leith
Goodman Jr. and Timothy Clarke
Goodman of Greensboro, brothers
of the bride; Robert Brinkley of
Marion, cousin of the groom; Jam
es Toney of Caroleen, Charles
Younce of Boone and Lloyd Gold
ing of Greensboro.
The bride was given in marriage
by her father. She wore a gown of
chantilly lace and nylon tulle over
white taffeta deiigned with a small
stand-up collar above a tulle yoke.
The skirt, appliqued with lace in a
scroll effect, extended into a court
train.
Her full-length veil of illusion
was attached to a Mary Stuart half
hat of lace trimmed in seed pearls,
and she carried a colonial bouquet
of white roses and stephanotis cen
tered with a white orchid.
A reception was held in the par
lors of Main Building on the cam
pas. After a wedding trip through
New York State and Canada the
couple will livrin Boone, Route 3,
'until fall when they return to
Greensboro to make their home.
For travel the bride wore a Dior
blue cotton and lace dress with a
matching jacket and matching
straw hat.
Mrs. Luttrell was graduated from
Greensboro College and is a mem
ber of the faculty at Gillespie Park
Junior High School here.
The bridegroom was graduated
from Appalachian State Teachers
College and has done graduate
work at the University of North
Carolina and Union College at
Schenectady, N. Y? where he held
a General Electric Fellowship dur
ing the summer of 1091. He is a
chemistry teacher at Greensboro
Senior High School.

Family Reunion
Held On Fourth

A family reunion was held at
the old William M. Millsaps resi
dence on the Watauga River, near
Beech Creek on the fourth of July.
The only remaining two living
residents present, were Robert M.
Milts of Helena, Montana, who has
been practicing law there since
1013. He 'is now 82 years of age,
and bis sister, Eliza Guy, who has
resided at her farm near the Beech
Creek postoffice, most of her life
and has raised 12 children. She is
now 84 years of age.
There were a number of rela
tives and friends present at the
reunion and participated in a gen
erous lunch.
Mr. Mills who is now blind took
some time and pain while they led
him around examihing the eld
building where he formerly lived.
