The candlelight ceremony at seven-thirty o'clock in the Gran ite Falls First Baptist Church was conducted by the pastor, Rev. Homer E. Bradey, assisted by Rev. Bruce D. Sapp of Raleigh, broth er-in-law of the groom. A program of wedding music was presented by Mrs. Robert Rogers, organist, and Mrs. Neal Cape, vocalist, before the double ring ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a floor length gown of hand clipped chai(tilly lace and tulle over Sat in. The fitted bodice featured,^, Sabrina neckline encrusted witjl sequins and pearls. A bouffant skirt of diagonal lace tiers float ed over an underskirt of ruffled net and extended into a chapel train. The fingertip veil of silk illusion fell from a pearl and aequin tiara, and was trimmed with French lace. The bride car ried a cascade of white roses, gar denias and centered with a white orchid. As her only ornslment the bride wore a gold pendant, a gift of her father to her mother before their marriage. Miss Martha Setzer of Chatta nooga, Tennessee was Maid of Honor. Her waltz-length gown of pure silk organza in emerald glace was designed with a fitted peaked bodice, surplice V neckline. The harem hemline was caught up with tiny self bows. The head dress was a circle of ivy with white mums. Bridesmaids were Miss Ala Sue McGuire, sister of the bridegroom, Mis* Sylvia Kirby, aunt of the bride, Mrs. Leonard Harris and Mrs. Robert Payne. Her corsage was the orchid/ lifted from her bridal bouquet. Wedding Reception ? Immediately following the wed ding, a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Boyce Mackie. Bartlett Mocks Honored At Dinner Party The Daniel Boone Hotel gras the setting for the lovely dinner party given by Major and Mrs. Carlos DeLima and Miss Joanne Aid ridge honoring Mr. and Mrs. Jack Mock on Saturday, September 6. Mrs. Mock is the former Grace Bowles Swaim of Winston-Salem. A color scheme of pink and silver was carried out using as a focal point a silver antique can delabrum with silver and pink ribbon streamers ending with pink and silver bells. The flower arrangements were pink carna tions and baby breath. Place cards of pink and silver carried out the color motiff. Smaller candlabra were placed at either end of the table with pink candles.
