Commissioners To Meet Sept@8 The County Commissioners Will meet on Tuesday September 8th, rather than on September 1@St is announced. The change is due to the fact that the regular meeting time falls on Labor Day. Miss Lineback and (Continued from Page One) proclaim tha? value when we vote (or continuance and tign notes to finance It. The purpose of this is to point out that when a member of the association votes for con tinuance and signs a note to in sure it, he has not fulfilled his obligation ' to the Horn. On the contrary, he has created and solidi fied an obligation to it! It's too late to change the pattern this year, however, it is not too late to spend an evening at the Horn . . . or send your employees to seejt. It is worth seeing again, if yoiPhaven't seen this season's version of it. In the event you may be one of those who wait for "Free Night" to see it, why not break down this year and buy a ticket. There wUI not be a free night this seasnr, anyway. That's the decision of the board. It is al so the decision of the board to state as clearly as possible the position of the Horn as we go into the fin? few days of this season. Attendance is. some better this year. Expenses have been curtail ed as much as possible. Despite the combination of these two fav orable factors, nothing less than a miracle could spare the note sign ers. We believe its signers are too practical to look for^-p last week miracle. We would suggest just two things in regard to the Horn. First, that we search our own standards where jt is concerned. If it has value It merits our financial sup port. If it has our financial sup port, we have, in giving it, com mitted ourselves to a mortl sup port of it that Is entitled to our best effort and to as much of our time as we can give. These things should have our earnest consideration before an other time of decision confronts us. We should form some convic tions, and stand by them, even at the cost of personal inconveni ence. It is our guess that when and if the Horn is favored with a miracle, it will be born in the midst of a unified and unselfish effort. REAL ESTATE 29 ?
