Woodie in Beau fort, 8. C. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Payne left Sunday to take their son, Cadet John Payne and Cadet Jack _ Martin Thomas back to Marion Military Institute in Marion, Alabama. Beta Club To Sponsor Usual Talent Show The Beta Club of Appalachian High School Will sponsor Its annual Talent Show en March 30 in the Appalachian Elemen tary School auditorium.. Mrs. Bentley Funeral Held Mrs. Ada Isobel Bentley of* Banner Elk died Wednesday,: Mini 7 in Cannon Memorial Hospital at Banner Elk. She was 69 yean ?t age. She is survived by the hus band, Jeff W. Bentley; six sons, Ed of Bauer Elk, Claude of High Point, Fred of Sugar Grove and High Point; Tracy of Sugar Grove, Lloyd of Boone and Maston Bentley, Banner Elk; one daughter, Mr*.
