Also 9:00 z 20 Lug Treads and 10:00 x SO Track Tires Ke treading tires is our FULL TIME business ? so we're not Just boasting ? we HAVE TO BE GOOD AT IT! Wild Berries Are Plentiful (continued from page 2) The Fox-grape, which ripens in the Fall after frost has scorched the leaves, is truly a kind of wild currant. It is a small fruit, almost black when ripe, occurring n little clusters asd as sour as vinegar. But if you have never tasted the jelly made therefrom, you really have something to live for. Un fortunately the vines once common in our coves and val leys have largely vanished with the oaks and other hardwoods. The vines of the Fox-grape are vigorous climbers. The fruit is difficult to gather except by the birds, opposums and that famous little fellow, the rac coon. GOSPEL SINGING There will be a Gospel Sing ing held in the courthouse July 27 from 8 p. m. to mid night, featuring The Spirtual aires quartet and the Swords men quartet from Winston Salem. Both quartets are stars of television, radio and stage. Everyone is invited to attend. Admission will be $1.00 for adults and 50c for children. Children under 12 years admit ted free when accompanied by an adult. 7-18-2c _ _ Members of "?wf asar J** AM 4-8866 FLAN - RITE" Funeral Expense Policy Is A Plan of insurance Designed To Supplement Yow Present Cost t5 Y0U WmUm of ^CsSSffiSS*-' 251 Per $100 00 ZJU, ?? ?ccidenuiT.tS!
