Banking is no longer a service that’s tailored for
a few large commercial houses and business
firms. It’s a money service for the families of a
community.
Here in this community, most workers are on
the job until 5:00 o’clock in the aftemoon-Many
- perhaps most of them - receive their salary by
check at the end of the working day on Friday.
Today, most housewives like to do much of their
weekly shopping Friday evenings. It presents a
problem in a community where banking ser
vices stop in mid-afternoon.
Here at First National we’re doing something
about it We’re plunging right into the main
stream of community activities, and up-dating
banking service to fill the needs.
Each Friday evening, we’ll be open ’til 6:00
o’clock to offer banking facilities to all who
need them.
