Bush, stepped out of-the cab to be kissed by his wife and to say good by forever to railroading after 46 years at the throttle of Pennsy’s fastest locomotive. I ’The 70-year-old veteran, who has; driven the line’s crack steam and •electric engine more than 3,000,000 miles between Washington and New York, was met at stops all along the route this afternoon by throngs of hie-eld railroad friends. In five years he was behind the throttle on the New York run. In 1900 he was the first man to ran the line’s crack Congressional limited from Washington to New York in five hours flat. “In all his long record of service he can boast that not one of his pas sengers was ever killed, land that he has never had a major accident. “His next ‘trip’ will be to a little farm near where he was bom, and where there is not a railroad within 15 miles.” !
