THE CHOWAN HERALD, EDENTON, N. G. THURSDAY. JULY 17, I*4l
No department store in the world ever had such private detectives as
those portrayed by Harpo, Groucho and Chico Marx in “The Big Store,” fast
and furious comedy coming to the Taylor Theatre, Edenton, Monday and
Tuesday. Tony Martin and five lavish new musical numbers add to what is
hailed as the merriest entertainment treat of the year. Here the “private
detectives” are familiarizing themselves with some of the wares in the toy
department. You can imagine the result.
