Beverly Creecy, 28, Killed In Accident Local Motorcyclist Col lides With Street Car In Norfolk Beverly K. Creecy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roland D. Creecy, of the Bethel section of Perquimans County, was >'nstantly killed in Norfolk, Va., on Friday, when his motorcycle collided with a street car. The accident oc curred at the intersection of Taussig Boulevard and Granby Street. Identification of the victim was not established in Norfolk for some time, but later while investigating the ac cident Detective Leon Nowitzky learned that the young man was from Eden ton. Creecy was 28 years old and was frequently seen in Edenton riding his motorcycle. It was reported that he attempted to cross the street car tracks on Granby Street, appearing suddenly in front of an oncoming street car, which could not be stopped J in time to avoid the accident. He is survived by his parents, ami numerous relatives. Former Edentonian Dies In Richmond Kirby Wright of Edenton; three sons, William A Die Griffin, age sl’ died in a Richmond, Va., hospital on Saturday, following a seige of ill health. Mr. Griffin was a former Edentonian, having moved to Rich mond about 20 years ago.
