Crawford, Jr., as chairman and the Rev. David B. Lawrence, the Rev. H. Freo Surratt and the Rev. J. T. By rum were chosen to work on the ques tion of union evangelistic services for Edenton and report at the Association meeting in May. Chaplain Slavin from the Kdenton Naval Air Station was present to express his appreciation to the asso j ciation for their work as auxiliary ] chaplains at the base. Chaplain Sla- I vin is leaving Kdenton at the end of j this month to the regret of the mem i bers of the association. The chap | lain expects to have the members of | the Association as luncheon guests at the base on May 27th. Seven members of the Association attended the meeting.
