James Harold Lupton, a student at Staunton Military Academy, Staun ton, Va., was the week-end guest of his cousin, Hector Lupton, Jr. Mrs. Luola Bembridge t Dies After Long Illness Mrs. Luola Hardison Bembridge, I 78, widow of the late J. T. Bembridge, ] died at her honje in the Cowpen Neck j section Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock after a long period of illness follow j ing a stroke of apoplexy. Deceased was a native of Martin County, but I had resided in Chowan about 35 years. j Surviving are one daughter, Miss Harriett Bembridge of Norfolk and | five sons, Duke Bembridge of Norfolk, Jimmy, William, Golden and John | Pete, all of Chowan County.
