Received In Concert
Drive For Next Series of
Concerts Will Begin
March 31
9
Edenton High School’s spacious
auditorium was practically filled Fri
day night when the Foxhole IJallet
presented, the final in the current
series of concerts sponsored by the
Community Concert Association. The
group included first class artists, who
delighted the large crowd with their
performances.
The program was divided into two
parts during which difficult numbers
were presented. During intermission
Victoria Crandall and Moreland Kort
karrip, pianists, rendered outstanding
numbers played at the same time on
two-pianos; These, two artists, like
those on the stage, were greeted with
rounds of applause.
In anticipation of another series of
.concerts.; memberships were sold at
Friday's concert, and the response
was. very encouraging. The drive for
members for the next series of co.n
ee'r;s will ho held the week of March
■'ll to April 5, and it is hoped more
will join than was the case for the.
first series, thus enabling the.sched
uling for local appearance .V even
better talent.
