Growing: Conditions For Peanuts Favorable' Growing conditions for peanuts I continue very favorable in the Vir ginia-Carolina section, although some fields are becoming rather “grassy.” The crop is generally well advanced : despite the lateness of the planting season. A few shelled peanuts mov ed to market, mostly on resales. Cleaned peanuts are about cleaned - up. Prices showed little change.
