The room was lovely for the occa sion with pink, green and white color scheme being carried out. Lovely, palms banked each doorway, pink I gladioli in tall white standard baskets; and multi-colored balloons of various sizes suspended from the ceiling tied with pink and green ribbons further enhanced the beauty of the room. Pink, green and white mints, salted nuts and individual party cakes iced in white with pink and green rose buds were also on the table. Each young lady was presented a corsage and each gentleman a boutonniere with the dainty pink and green cards for dances. When dances were over, Miss 'Speight opened her many lovely presents and refreshments were ' served, consisting of mint's, nuts and ice cream molded in the shapes of I calla lilies and pink roses, and the lovely tiered birthday cake was cut by the honoree.
