PAGE TWO 51,294.07 Collected In Local Cancer Drive Leaders Express Appre ciation to Workers And Contributors Mrs. Ralph Parrish, commander of the Chowan County cancer drive, this week released the final report for the campaign, which resulted in contribu tions reaching $1,294.07, or almost SSOO above the county’s SBOO quota. Mrs. Parrish, Miss Rebecca Colwell, county chairman, and Mrs. Nathan Dail, treasurer, are very well pleased with the result of the drive and ex press their thanks and appreciation to all who solicited, as well as those who contributed. ,The drive was again this year sponsored by the Junior Woman’s Club.
