At these meetings the Assist ant Home and County Agents assisted the club members in filling out .their health score sheets. These score sheets were filled out by the club members several months ago, at which time suggestions were made to the members as to how each one could improve his health habits. Candidates for the next session’s president and vice president of the Student Council were nominated on Monday. Campaign speeches are to be given today (Thursday) and elec tion is to be held Friday. Susan Thigpen, 'Aubrey Harrell, Galvin Mills, Charlotte Leary and Rhett Mil ler are candidates for president and Lucy Cofield, Morris Small, Earl Goodwin and Nancy Boswell are can didates for vice president. Gaddy, executive secre tary of the Council on Christian Education under ‘the Baptist State Convention, Raleigh, will deliver the commencement address at graduation exercises at Chowan High School Thursday, May 27, at 8 o’clock. Class night exercises will be held on Wednesday evening, May 26, in the auditorium of the' high school build ing. Seniors taking part in the pro gram include Sybil Chappell, who is the class valedictorian, and Jean Hollowell, class salutatorian, Ruth Winslow, Hilda King, Sarah Jana Boyce, Frances Byrum and all the members of the senior class. Baccalaureate services will be con ducted Sunday night, May 23, at 8 o’clock, with the Rev. W. L. Free man, pastor of the Edenton Methodist Church, delivering the. baccalaureate sermon. The Rev. W.
