4-H Program Held At IppyHonietiiiirch Ten Club Members Take Part on Interesting Program* The 4-H Church Service Program, “My Body for Cleaner Living” was observed in the Happy Home Pente costal Holiness Church on Sunday afternoon, May 23, at 3 o’clock. There were ten club members par ticipating in the program. The pro gram consisted of an opening hymn, “Praise Him! Praise Him!”, after which Jessie Leroy Byrum, Jr., lead in prayer. The 4-H members repeat ed together the 4-H Club Health Creed. Scripture Reading was ren dered by Kelly Byrum, who read the 9th through the 20th verses from the 6th chapter of I Corinthians. “He Whispers Sweet Peace to Me” was sung by Yvonne Copeland, Ber nice Jordan, Kathleen Byrum and accompanied at the piano by Elwood Copeland. The message “Your Body A Temple” was delivered by the Rev. W. L. Butler, pastor of the church. A poem “The House Inside of Me” was given by Herbert Ray Lane. “To the Work” was the closing hymn for the service, after which the pastor gave the benediction. A large crowd the service. A mezzo-soprano, Miss Spivey is ,a student of Edythe Schneider and was accompanied by and assisted at the piano by Doris Davis and Eleanor J Andrews, both of Cumberland, Va, The program was formed of a r group of German numbers by Schu mann and English songs. Miss Spivey’s rendition of the aria “Voi lo sapete” from Cavalleria Rus ticana by Mascagni was the high- I light of the program. I Miss Spivey is the daughter of Mr. . and Mrs.' 0.
