PAGE TWO Annual Election For Chowan Member On Conservation Board Voting Wilfße In Pro gress Dec. 6-11; Two Candidates The annual election for a commit teeman for the Chowan County Board 1 of Soil Conservation Supervisors will be held during the week of December 6to 11, inclusive. The election this year will be for the purpose of elect ing one committeeman for the Cho wan committee. The term of office for the committeeman to be elected J will be three years. For this election ballot boxes will | be distributed as follows: Edenton,; Byrum Hardware store; Yeopim, | Hobbs’ store; Rocky Hock, Bunch’s 1 store on December 6,7 and 8, and at i Peele’s store on December 9,‘TO and 11; Center Hill, V. E. Boyce’s store, and Gliden, Briggs’ store. The following men’have been nom-i ' mated by regular petition as provid ed by the State Soil Conservation J District law: Joe A. Webb, Jr., and John N. Bunch. Both of these gen-1 tlemen reside in the lower end of; Chowan County. Qualified voters may vote for one of these men and are urged to go to one of the above listed polling places to cast their ballots.
