Register Os Deeds Office Undergoing “Growing Pains” Appeal Made By Attor ney to Relieve Over Crowded Condition County Attorney J. N. Pruden ap peared before the County Commis sioners Monday in an effort to se v cure relief for the crowded condition f' of the record room adjoining the Register of Deeds office. Mr. Pruden stated that members of the bar ex perience a great deal of difficulty in looking over records due to insuf ficient space. Some of newer books are longer than the shelves and besides the table used is too narrow to accommo date one book at a time. Mr. Pruden registered the complaint at the re quest of local attorneys. The County Commissioners agreed that presort facilities are and authorized Register of Deeds M L. Bunch and Clerk of Court E. W. Spires to work together with at torneys on a plan to relieve the sit uation and report their findings at the April meeting of the Board.
