Jaycees Sponsor Little Symphony (Membership Drive Will Be Held During No vember 1 Thomas Byrum, president of the Edenton Junior Chamber of Com- Smeree, announced this week that the /Jaycees will again sponsor the appear- I ance in Edentpn of the North Carolina f Little Symphony. Though no definite date has been set, the group will pre sent a program some time in Feb- Iruary. In connection with the concert, a membership campaign will be con ducted during November, when mem bers will be enrolled at a price of $2.00 as was the case last year, a free concert will be held in the afternoon (jfoj: school children and the adult con flcert at night. Charles Wales has been appointed chairman of the membership drive. i ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED Mr. and Mrs. Rufus H. Eason, of Sunbury announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Lillian Grace, to William David Ober, of Edenton, ton of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ober. The wedding will be performed on November 12, in the Oak Grove Christian church at 6 o’clock P. M. The public is cordially invited to at tend.
