C. * Bfe l r "V Insurance Dividends j Paid To Veterans * A few World War veterans eligible « for dividends on their Government ' Life Insurance already have received jj checks it is announced by Stephen H. « Alford, District Officer of the North < Carolina Veterans Commission. j Mr. Alford warned, however, that i World War I veterans are not eligible j for the dividends unless they have re tained their insurance since they were in the service. Very few of the older j group have kept up their payments. } It is not necessary for World War ( I men to apply for their dividends, he 1 said. The Veterans Administration 1 has the records, and the checks will i be sent to them automatically. Meanwhile dividend checks for World War II veterans holding Nat ional Service Life Insurance still are being awaited.
