Rhodes Speaker At Rotary Meeting R. C. Rhoades of Elizabeth City, executive secretary of the Albemarle Committee for Education on Alcohol ism, was the principal speaker at last week’s Rotary meeting. Mr. Rhoades rehearsed the work of his organiza tion in an attempt to cure alcoholism, which, he said is a disease. Telling the Rotarians that alcohol ism, like other diseases, is no respect or of persons, and that it affects rich and poor, male and female, he point ed with pride to Alcoholic Annoymous for what has been accomplished, say ing it is based on faith.
