B)iiiiniinuniiuiuuiin««imuniiniiu minmmmiimtfSl (Senior Class News ( ii l(Ir. Brockwell, representative for the Balfour Jewelry Company, took a few orders for the Senior Class pins last week. He has written the com pany for information concerning a reproduction of the pin at a cheaper price. The entire group is interested in a pin similar to their class rings. Gecola Ward, Faye Dail, Gary Mar tin and Nancy Boswell were awarded debating medals recently for their achievements as debaters last year. Outstanding (Seniors Some of the winter winds seem to whistle-forth the question, “Who are the outstanding Seniors?” Well Mr. Winter Wind, Marjorie Lee Jones and , Carrol Smith hold that title this week. Marjorie Lee was a member of the 4-H Club for two years. She was elected as the “cutest” in the Senior superlatives. In her after-school life she is a member of the Macedonia Church and holds an office in her Sunday School Class; Marjorie Lee is the past president of the BTU, and is now a member of the Y. W. A. Carrol Smith was also a 4-H Club member. This is his first year as a bus driver of Edenton High School. He has been an active participant in baseball. In the superlatives, Car roll’s is the “best disposition.” Carroll is a member of Macedonia Church and BTU too. Even though these two Seniors aren’t publicized frequently does not mean that they are not there as th* high-lighters. Yes, Marjorie and Car roll have justly earned their title, for’ they have both worked diligently and trustworthily for the betterment of their class, school, church and all con cerned.
