The game yraa well played throughout, with Colerain shoving across the winning run in the ninth inning. (Brockwell was on the mound for Edenton and allowed five hits while J. D. Throne, former Colonial hurler, held his former teammates to four hits, two of which were made by Art Hoch, Edenton shortstop. Edenton 3, Colerain 8 In Colerain Friday night the Trap pers again defeated the Colonials by a score of 8-3. The Colonials took an early lead by scoring two runs in the first inning, but Colerain went in the lead by scoring one run in the fourth and four runs in the sixth, and added three more in the seventh. The Colonials chalked up seven hits off Ted Miller, but were unable to connect when hits meant runs. Dowdy, Cohoon and Griffin did mound duty for the Colonials, the trio giv ing up only six hits, but wildness helped the Colerain cause. Trot Leary led the Colonials’ attack with two hits, while Brooks was best for Colerain with two hits. Clark hit a home run for the Colonials in the eighth with the bases empty. Edenton 6, Windsor 5 (So far as Edenton fans are con cerned, (Saturday night’s game wound up like a fictional story, with the Co lonials winning the game in the 10th inning by a count of 6-5. The Colonials scored a run in the first inning, with Windsor knotting the count in the top of the third. In the same inning the Colonials scored a run, with Windsor forging ahead 3-2 after scoring two runs in the fourth. However, in their half of the tenth, the Colonials scored three runs to win the gaqie. Adams started on the mound for , Edenton, but was relieved by Dowdy in the eighth.
