THE SENIOR NEWSLETTER j By HAZEL LEARY ■ 1 I 1 i I Pearl Halsey ■ 1 Made Privott to another Senior biography. The next one is that of Mack “Harvel” Privott, who was bom on November 18, 1932, to Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Privott. His first six and one half years of school were spent at Chowan school. During his four years here in high school he has been active in just about all the extra cur ricular activities that Edenton has to offer. Among these are the band, the Glee Club and the Student Coun cil. During his Junior and Senior years he has been an outstanding player on both the football and base ball teams. He has won the Varsity Club trophy for being the most out > standing football player for the last two years. Mack’s friendly and pleas ing personality has enabled him to make friends with most anyone he meets and also to be elected to many .positions in his classes and the vari ous clubs of which he is a member. Outside school, Mack’s time is well occupied with his part-time job at Campen’s and pursuing his interests which include movies, all sports, eat ing, and dancing. As for the future, he is interested in studying physical education, but hasn’t as yet decided on what college he would like to attend. If Mack does as well in the future as he has in the past, we are sure that Fate will have much success in store for any of his endeavors. The Honor Roll for the past month is as follows: Donald Campbell, Charlie Cannan, ■Carlton Jackson, Dorothy Baker, Bet ty Byrum, Virginia Copeland, Hazel Leary, Betty Letcher and Peggy Wil liams.
