Manly Hartwell Taylor, 25, of Merry
1‘ Hill, died in the Albemarle Hospital,
Elizabeth 'City, 'Sunday morning as the
result of injuries received Saturday
night when he lost control of his 1950
J* Ford and turned over on a Currituck
highway.
With Taylor at the time of the ac
cident was Raleigh Frank Hughes, 23,
also of Merry Hill, who was more
fortunate and escaped with minor in
juries.
- Surviving the deceased man are his
wife, Mrs. Anita Wampler Taylor; two
stepchildren, Virginia Wampler tod
Andrew Wampler; parents, Mr. and
Mrs. 'Speight Taylor; two sisters, Mrs.
Bunch, Edenton, Linda Kay
Taylor, Merry Hill; a brother, Bruce
W. Taylor, Merry Hill.
IFuneral services were held at Cape
hart’s Baptist Church Monday after
noon at 3 o’clock, with the.pastor, the
Rev. H. P. Huggins, officiating. In-1
terment was made in the church ceme
tery.
