Deputy Collector John N. Robbins,
of the Windsor branch office of the 1
Collector of internal revenue, will be
in the Edenton post office building on
February 4,6, 11, 13, 14, 18, and 25th!
for the purpose of assisting taxpayers j
in -he preparation and'filing of their
Federal income tax returns, instead;
of the regular Monday morning sched-i
ule that was observed during the
month of January. During the last
two weeks of the filing period from
March Ist to March 15th, Deputy
Collector Robbins will visit the Eden
ton post office only twice to assist
taxpayers, as regulations require that
he spend as nearly all of his time
as possible in the Windsor office. The,
two dates for assisting Edenton tax-!
payers in March will be the 3rd andj
10th.
A daily time-table of 9:30 A. M., to
12:45 P. M„ and 1:30 IP. M., to 4:30]
P. M., will be adhered to as closely]
as possible for the convenience of|
Edenton taxpayers requiring assist-j
an<v» with their Federal income tax,
returns on the dates mentioned above,!
except that Deputy Gnllecto’i Robbins!
will not be at the Edenton post office
building after 12:45 P. M., on Febru
