New Assistant Home Agent Begins Work i Miss Clara Mason, new assistant home agent, attended her first Cho wan 4-H Club meeting with the Rocky Hock local club last week. At the local meetings the assistant agent explained the different kinds of demonstrations (both team and indi vidual) that will be held this year. The elimination contests for all coun ty winners will be held at Washing ton, N1 C., on July Bth. Several boys! at the local meetings expressed a de-! sire to enter one or more of these contests. Several members of the local clubs conducted radio programs last week. A combination of club members from the Advance and Enterprise local clubs teamed up together to put on a pro gram of general information on 4-H Club work. Members who took part on this program were: Harold Bunch, Barbara Ann White, and Betty By rum, all of the Enterprise Club. Dick Lowe and Rachel Wilder of the Ad vance Club also appeared on the pro gram. Harold Lloyd Bunch and Dick Lowe appeared on a program which was made by tape recording and will be broadcast at a later date. Each told something about the club and in dividual activities. AUXILIARY MEETS APRIL 1 ’ The Ladies’ Auxiliary of William H Coffield, Jr., Pest No. 9280, Veterans of Foreign Wars, will meet Thursday night, April 1, at 8 o’clock in the VFW hall. !
