Jerry (Jack) Lane Dies Suddenly Wednesday Jerry Vernon (Jack) Lane, 64, died suddenly at his home in the'Paradise section of Chowan County at 6 o’clock Wednesday morning. Mr. Lane was working at the time of his death. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Llona A. Lane; four sons, Vernon and Larry Lane of Edenton, Thomas and Walter Lane at home; seven daughters, Mrs. Guilford Davenport, Mrs. Joseph Rog erson of Hertford, Mrs. Dick Layden of Edenton, Mrs. Otis Mansfield and Mrs. Marshall Mansfield of Hertford, Miss Sarah Lane of Portsmouth, Mrs. Max Adams of Merry Hill; one sis ter, Mrs. Norma Griffin of Edenton. Twenty-four grandchildren also sur vive. He was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church where funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock with the Rev. Bennie Crawford, pastor, officiating. The body will lie in state at the church for 1 hour before services Pallbearers are Wheeler Griffin, Tillman Griffin, Asa Griffin, Lloyd Griffin, Claude Griffin and Fred Grif fin. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Watson Bryan White of Eden-| ton and the bridegroom is the son of James Robert Parker of Sunbury and the late Mrs. Addie Pierce Parker. The bride wore a pink silk dress with white accessories and a corsage of red roses, which were grown by the bridegroom.
