To The 4p VOTERS WM Chowan ■BBI County We, the friends of William S. Privott, heartily solicit your sup port of his candidacy for the office of Clerk of Superior Court on Saturday, May 29th. We have known him throughout his career, beginning as an outstanding student of Edenton High School. He later attended Wake Forest College, graduating with honors, after which he prac ticed law in Edenton and has served us as Prosecuting Attorney. He has been associated with and vitally concerned in all matters, looking toward the welfare of the community. His interest in the youth of our county is known to all. Bill served his country in World War II and his professional ca reer was again disrupted when he was called for a second term of active duty with the U. S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. We feel confident that his training, legal experience and knowl edge of law qualify him to fill this office admirably and with effici ency. Help us to give this capable young man an opportunity.
