and following up of contacts, an
important step toward controlling
the most common of venereal di

At the present time there are
approximately 7o persons under
treatment and observation in th ’
local Health Department, the ma

Each year when the migratory
workers enter our counties, all
members of each labor camp arc
blood tested and given necessary
treatment by the local Health De

Workers sent in by the United
States Public Health Service, thus
helping to control these diseases in
other states.
Weekly venereal disease clinics
are held each Tuesday night from
5:30 P. M„ until 7:00 P. M., in
Elizabeth City, each Thursday
night from 5:00 P. M.. until 7:00
